Our new headmaster, Don Wahlman, has served as head of school in Christian Schools for over 20 years. His college degrees include: B.S. from West Virginia University, Major in Secondary Education, Physics; M.A. from Marshall University, Major in Educational Administration; M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary.

Mr. Wahlman comes to us from Briarwood Christian School where he has served as the School Administrator for the past six years. He is currently serving as acting superintendent at BCS until he assumes the role of Headmaster at Heritage Christian Academy in June. Prior to coming to Briarwood Christian School, he served as the Head of School at Zion Christian Academy in Columbia, TN for 19 years. During that time Zion, the school over doubled in size and had three major building campaigns including the addition of a gymnasium, science labs, theatre facilities; Stadium for football and soccer; baseball field, softball field and cross-country trails; and an elementary building expansion that doubled its classroom capacity. The school joined TSSAA and had success in 1A athletics in Tennessee. Zion led the area with the highest ACT average for their seniors.

Mr. Wahlman’s vision is to lead Heritage in providing a safe environment for each child to flourish as they are equipped to gain the knowledge and wisdom that they can use to further love and serve Christ. It is definitely an exciting time to be a Heritage Eagle!
